巡音ルカ|デモムービー01

巡音ルカ|デモムービー01

So, Luka came out a few days ago. She sounds pretty good from the sample they provided. Her voice is a lot more mature, and supposedly she can sing in English better than the other vocaloids.

She sounds kinda like Len. Just my opinion there.

Scouring nico for some more samples, but I'm not finding too much that I deem good. Maybe when I do I'll post it, but I should get back to applying for college and shiz.

RAGNAROK ONLINE ORIGINAL SOUND TRACK

RAGNAROK ONLINE ORIGINAL SOUND TRACK

It's old, but I feel like blogging since I can't concentrate enough to do homework.

It's the RO Soundtrack! It appears to have remade songs as well as vocal versions (the samples sound great!).

It looks like a lot of detail was put into production. There appears to be a nice booklet of lyrics + art, some production notes, and the CDs themselves look very nice.

As an added bonus, my character could get Note Headphones! That's DEF+4 MDEF+3 with 1 slot! Holy crap that's a good headgear. It's got some other effects too.

So, that's going on my wishlist. Actually, it's been on my wishlist for a while.

Baka Baka Baka

A very fun and cute Hatsune Miku song/PV I found. A youtube link as well as the nico mirror is posted below.

Just something about the song is super fun. I can't understand it, but nonetheless, enjoy.

It features Hatsune Miku (obviously), Akita Neru (a variant of miku), and Kasane Teto (who isn't technically a Vocaloid, but a program called UTAU).

I wish I could search up more on UTAU, but every time I put UTAU in google, I get Utau Hoshina (Shugo Chara), and when I search up "kasane teto UTAU", I find this video XD

EDIT: I found UTAU!

I can't read it, but I'm sure the link is relevant.

.hack//Link サイバーコネクトツー

.hack//Link サイバーコネクトツー

.hack//LINK for the PSP. I think I speak for everyone when I say this is totally awesome!

Yet another awesome game for the PSP. It's getting to be a popular system. FF Dissidia, Pangya, Valkyrie Profile, they also have freaking N-Ninja!

I don't know much about this game since I can't read Japanese, but it certainly looks awesome.

I should read the manga.

Ow...my head

So I was sparring with my brother. I don't know if that's the right term for 'practicing with swords', but it's an accurate enough term.

So, partway through the fight, I miss a block or something and get a straight impact to my head. The top of my head. Ow.

I held my head for a little and then removed it to find blood. Yes. I was drawing blood. I guess it can be expected, but ow...who would have guessed that wooden swords hurt?

And then he has the balls to try to take blame off of himself. He's like "how can something like this cause you to bleed?" and "maybe you just messed with your pimples or something". He also wonders why I'm mad at this point.

So that was my day. I can't wait for the weekend.

They localized mugen puchi puchi...

Bandai.com - Mugen Pop Pop - You Can't Stop The POP!

The neverending bubble wrap toy. Localized by Bandai. Amazing. I have no idea how well this will work, but hey, I got one (from Japan) and it's pretty addictive, so who knows.

Tales of Symphonia: Complete

I have just completed one of the endings of ToS:DotNW. I plant to play through again of course.

Great game, quite an ending. I'd say this is probably the Tales of with the most lovey dubby action. Great for fans of the first game, but not really the game to introduce someone to the Tales of series.

No anime cutscenes (except for the opening sequence), but the motion capture cutscenes makes up for that (I don't think any other Tales of game uses motion capture). The scenes were definately dynamic and exciting.

A lot of maps were recycled from the old games, and the puzzles weren't as hard, but it was still a fun game. It was very nostalgic to do that Balacruf Masoleum puzzle again (XP).

There's not too much replay value unfortunately. There aren't that many secrets to get, so that's unfortunate. Still a fun game once you get into it. The field element system definately works better than the FoF thing in Tales of the Abyss.

So yeah. Totally reccomend it to fans of the Tales of series. Especially for those who have played the first Tales of Symphonia.

クリプトン | VOCALOID2特集

クリプトン | VOCALOID2特集

CV03 was announced! She looks really cool! No voice samples up yet. The voice actress they sampled from is Yuu Asagawa, who I believe voiced Tsugumi from Ever17.

I can't wait to hear some samples

First post of the new year

Well, the new year is upon us, which means new stuff. Hopefully some cool games or something will come out this year, or I'll get my butt in gear and actually work on stuff (like drawing...or college).

It'll be an exciting year indeed, being my 18th year of existence. I hope everyone a good one, and hope that I will find cool stuff to post about soon.
